About Us

Our Church

Christ Covenant Church (CCC) is a reformed church in Centralia, WA., founded on May 23rd, 2021.

Our church holds to the historic creeds of the Christian faith (Apostles Creed, Nicene Creed, and Definition of Chalcedon), and subscribes to the Westminster Confession of Faith as our doctrinal standard.

Come join us and experience the glory of covenant renewal worship, exegetical preaching, weekly communion, psalm singing, and Christ-centered fellowship as we seek to make disciples in Lewis County.

CCC is a member of the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches (CREC).

Our Culture

JOY IN GOD
As a church we desire to cultivate a joyful solemnity and grave gladness that is becoming of followers of Jesus Christ. From this overflow of joy in God we aim to be known for our love, hospitality, festive singing, and regular feasting around God’s table.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
We are committed to raising our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Luke 6:40, Ephesians. 6:4), and towards this end we seek to support homeschooling families and the building up of institutions like Christ the King Academy.

CENTRALITY OF WORSHIP
We believe that the faithful preaching of God’s Word, the fervent prayers of God’s people, and the loud “Amen’s” of our children, is one of the primary means by which political, cultural, and moral reform takes place. Just as “judgment begins at the house of God” (1 Peter 4:17), so also does salvation and the renewal of all things begin in the church. With this living hope inside of us, we work towards the day when the reign of Jesus Christ is undeniable to all who live in our region. Thy Kingdom Come!

Our Liturgy

Our Lord’s Day Worship Service could be described as “traditional,” in that we sing ancient Psalms and Hymns, we recite the ancient Nicene Creed, and there is a formal and deliberate order to the service. From beginning to end, the worship service is a kind of dialog between God and His People, between the Minister and the Congregation, in which we draw near to God “with reverence and godly fear” (Hebrews 12:28).

The basic order of liturgy is as follows:

1. Call to Worship: God calls us into His presence. We enter with joy and singing.
2. Confession: God cleanses us of sin. We repent and profess our faith in Christ.
3. Consecration: God teaches us His Word. We hear and obey.
4. Communion: God feeds us. We commune with Christ and one another.
5. Commissioning: God sends us back into the world renewed. We go forth to conquer by faith.
